Say "NO" to Human Trafficking;

LET PRPs DO THE WORK

Media for me has become a daily-bread on a daily basic. Socially it is more like I can not finish my day without any communications related to the media.

 As a Public Relations student,  I found it more easier to spy on what the media has for the community and society as well as the trend that is leading us as human beings.

If only times could turn back, how would you imagine life without these gadgets we are using today? your Facebook, Tweeter, YouTube, MySpace and other sites. With communication and technologies life can be easy to interact with peers, and I'm very glad that the new era that we live in today is very outsourcing. As for now I don't really have to buy newspapers or listen to the radio or either pay attention on TV, I can read the online news up-date and articles for information.

From the picture above, I was very shocked to hear such an immoral news on Times (online newspaper), after the review of a child porn accused, of the six allegedly men who were perpetrating crime, while they are people who ought to be our protectors in the society.

THE SIX ARRESTED MEN WERE:

  • Two Teachers
  • A retired School Principal
  • A Lawyer
  • Dermatologist;
  • and Businessman
Taking a deep look on the profiles of those arrested, it affirms that these kind of  crimes attracts even the most trusted in the society. so PRPs should keep on eye by doing some campaigns for such issues.

  9. I agree with the opposed view point, however what i find to be more concerning is the intervention of individual rather than the government,the government is us and they are only official who speak our voice hence it is edge people to engage in the media responsibly .let know to say no.

  11. Well we are often bombarded with sources like TV, radios, magazines, billboards, internet and movies just to name a few.These are what we call the media. These forms of media tend to promote not only products, but moods and attitudes and a sense of what is and what isn't important. Without the media we as people would be isolated not only from the world but from the government, neighboring towns and cities.

  15. That is really shocking, reason being that no one would have suspected that such men whom we look up to would even dare to think of doing such things. It goes to show that we still have a lot of work to do as a country to protect each other from those who aim to do nothing but cause pain, while posing as leaders of the nation in public and engaging in shocking activities in private. I believe that social media would be a great tool to alert more and more people about such people.

  21. That just brings us to the fact that change begins with us before we can teach others to change with regards to those trusted with offices and yet misuse them.
